Your Massage Therapy Logo

Once you decide on a business name, a massage therapy logo should be chosen. You can design your own or have an artist create one. Remember, you are in the business of creating your own brand of massage, a sort of trademark that represents you.

Your massage logo can be fancy, complete with a drawing or photo, and special lettering in one or several colors. It can also be as simple as just the name of your business in the color or colors and font of your choosing.

This will be your trademark or your brand and whenever anyone sees it, they will know it is your business.

You will put your massage therapy logo on your business cards, your business sign, and in the yellow pages of the phone book if you choose to advertise there. It will be on your website and on any stationery that you use, such as letterheads, envelopes, client birthday cards, and gift certificates. You can also have t-shirts and caps made with your massage logo printed on them.If you give each client a bottle of water after their massage, have labels printed with your massage logo and put them on the water bottles. You want your clients and the public to see your logo. Order pens with your logo printed on them and hand them out to your clients. It is cheap advertising and your clients will feel like they are getting more than their money's worth if you give them something.

Some popular logo examples are:

1. The red lettering of Coca Cola

2. The all-capital letters of MASSAGE magazine

3. The way the word Nestle is put on all Nestle products

4. Hallmark cards with the little crown

5. The golden arches of McDonald's

6. Radio Shack

7. The simple Nike check mark that means "just do it." (My favorite saying!)The list of famous logos goes on and on. Most companies have their own type of logo and people know them just by their shapes.

Try to choose something original and different and incorporate your business name in a unique font and letter combination for your massage therapy logo.

For example, let's say your business name is Healing Waters Therapeutic Massage. Your letters could be one or two shades of blue and maybe you could have a wave underneath the name.
